Bla-bla

Honest goals, clear path starting with fundamentals and no pretentiousness. Plenty of problem-solving because that’s where real learning happens! No reinvention of the wheel either — our content contains parts of famous open-source resources (referenced), as well as awesome videos made by others. Until AI gets a little too smart, this is (well, "will be") the ultimate lineup of courses and goals for 2025 for anyone into maths, programming, data analysis, or AI — or those looking to dive in. Good luck!

This career path challenges the myth that mathematicians or those with strong logical and programming skills can't make serious money. Most people on this path see it as just that — an opportunity to earn $2,400, $3,125, or even >$4,000 a week as a university student or recent graduate while doing maths, programming, and data analysis.

Below is an honest journey designed to prepare someone who knows what an integral is for interviews for an internship or junior job as a quant/trader at a top trading firm, hedge fund, or other finance-focused company. While we’ll cover the necessary programming skills, especially Python for Data Analysis, this journey is primarily for maths-minded people (so not software guys, sorry).

Surprisingly, most companies don’t require a huge amount of theory for interviews. The key is strong thinking, problem-solving, and probability skills — especially good probabilistic intuition. A more thorough and slower coverage of this is in the "The basics to know" tab above.
Once you're familiar with that (or if you already are), move on to our long-term collection and carefully organized materials below. The first course, SP-1, which is actually friend for uni freshers! The second one goes much deeper, but it is not necessary to get into most companies.

Trader/Quant Job: Exploration & Prep

Interviews to trading/quant internships, brainteasers, key probability theory for (many) junior positions

Advanced Finance: Beyond the Basics

CAPM, more linear regression, some of the serious financial theory

Below is the set of courses that contains all the fundamentals you need to feel confident with the main special program to prepare for an interview (i.e. "Trader/Quant Job: Exploration & Prep"). Completing or already-knowing each single one of them is important to excel on this career path.

Logical & Formal Thinking

Proofs, brainteasers, algorithms, ... Also the beginnings of strong Olympiad-style maths.

Intro to Prob & Stats & ML

Beginnings of probability, statistics, ML and their applications everywhere, including finance.

Matrices Basics; Intro to Linear Algebra

Vectors, Matrices, relations to Geometry & Algebra, their role in real life & AI. Ending with non-trivial problems from Linear Algebra

Basic Python & Algorithms

From zero to ifs, loops, dynamic programming, and algorithmic problems.

Continuous Probability

Theoretical dive into probability theory: we will recall the discrete set up, and from there dive into fundamental theory of the continuous world.

All Around Linear Regression

All the basics and intricacies of the most widely used tool in predictive analysis
