Description:
Statistics is all about making the right conclusions given some information. This is not easy, there are many tricks and pitfalls that even famous media fall into. So we will practise not messing up with a conclusion and learn about several basic tools and ways to analyse and present data. There are gonna be quite a few terms and definitions, but there will be a corresponding amount of examples to master things. Plus we will get to see some quite funny mess ups in this fields.
For half of this course no special knowledge is needed, but for another half of it we do require students to know the basics of probability (e.g the course PS-2).
